Hey Geronimo were one of over 200 acts that helped bring 2012 to a rocking close at Peats Ridge. The Brisbane quintet have made a name for themselves behind their rich harmonies and upbeat brand of pop rock, where having fun is paramount.
Keys player Andrew Stone and bassist Greg Chiapello took the time to talk about the surprise of being opened for by a shirtless heavy metal band, the friendly competition that exists with Australian indie music, and why Hey Geronimo is so fond of harmonising.
Having only just been together for over one year, Hey Geronimo have progressed quickly and established a sound that is favourable to festival crowds. Fans should expect the debut album from the indie five-piece sometime in February 2013.
