Interview: Kyuss Lives! – Soundwave 2013

Kyuss Lives! have but a few shows left under their current name before making the shift to the Vista Chino banner. The name change, at least in part, is due to a lawsuit filed by former Kyuss members but existing fans can rest assured that a new name doesn’t equate to a new style.

Brant Bjork, former Kyuss, current Kyuss Lives! and soon to be Vista Chino member assures us he and bandmates John Garcia, Nick Oliveri and Bruno Fevery will continue to celebrate the music of Kyuss, the way Kyuss Lives! intended, while also forging their own legacy under the new moniker.

Speaking with Music Feeds on location at Sydney Soundwave 2013, Bjork touched on the relief of moving past the lawsuit, the impact the legal action had upon Kyuss Lives!, the current progress of Vista Chino’s debut and a brighter 2013 for the band.
