After a long stint away from Australia, Scottish dreamboat and musician Paolo Nutini is finally back in the country for Bluesfest and a series of sideshows and we were lucky enough to grab a chat, a mere few hours before his Sydney show.
Getting real deep with us, Paolo discussed the evolution of his song-writing process and how slowing things down for a few years, and getting in touch with nature, helped him discover new ways to make music.
Paulo was also asked why he’s not too involved with the online world: “I’ve never social networked. When I have, somebody else set them all up, so, they do exist but I don’t have the passwords. I’ve never really entertained it. I think it would open some kind of Pandora’s Box if I thought I could share my views on certain things, it could be a slippery slope.”
Paolo finishes up his Australian tour with Byron Bay’s Bluefest April Saturday April 4th, before a final performance in Auckland which you can grab the details for here.
