Interview: Spit Syndicate – New Album ‘Sunday Gentlemen’, First Single And New Video Clip

After a cheeky 3-or-so-year gap, Sydney MC’s Nick Lupi and Jimmy Nice are now gearing up to get Spit Syndicate back into full swing. In the interim between now and the release of their 3rd studio album Sunday Gentlemen, the boys will be offering the first single Beauty in the Bricks to fans, which will come hand in hand with a decked-out clip.

Fresh from the set of the new music video, the boys caught up with the Music Feeds team and gave a play-by-play of what fans can expect. Following the storyline of the single closely, the clip also explores the concept of home, and the urgency to keep things fresh. The track itself speaks in depth about the need to avoid the mundane, while also acting as a so-called powerful love letter to the duo’s hometown, Sydney’s creative hub of the Inner West region.

The single will be dropping October 5, and the clip will be in tow. Following that release, Spit Syndicate will be hitting the road for the Beauty in the Bricks tour: a run of intimate shows designed for hardcore music fans stoked on sampling the group’s new Aussie hip hop stylings.
