Interview: The Growlers Talk Latest Album ‘Chinese Fountain’

After taking some time out from their Australian headline tour to perform in Music Feeds Studio, Californian band The Growlers stayed back to chat with Music Feeds about their latest album, Chinese Foundation.

Vocalist Brooks Nielsen said the album took “two weeks of writing, a week of rehearsal and a week of recording” to bring to life, and said the record takes a more honest approach to lyricism.

The Growlers played shows around Australia in January 2015, after playing four sold-out debut Australian headline shows in March 2014. The band returned home after their 2014 shows to finish off Chinese Fountain, before returning to Australian shores.
