Jinja Safari & Kinfe – Silence Of The Guns

In July of 2012 Jinja Safari traveled to Melbourne to complete recording Silence of the Guns with Kinfe, an asylum seeker from East Africa. They had been sharing files and musical ides for a few weeks via the internet and the recording session at Black Pearl Studio in Melbourne was the final leg of their musical journey. Kinfe, Pepa and Marcus got on famously and the session was one that embodied all the best aspects of cooperation, collaboration and friendship.
