Melbourne artist Life Is Better Blonde immediately impressed with his second offering Follow Me and now he’s served up an equally great video for the track.
Follow Me is the follow-up to his debut Mine and is a stunning ballad centring around the delicate, soulful vocals. The clip, directed by Natalie James, is a haunting visual and apt accompaniment for the track.
It features a very dusty looking man huddling around a deserted piano in a forest. As the man walks away towards the end of the clip, the piano seems to be playing itself before it’s joined by another piano falling from the sky. This may sound more confusing than emotional but take our word for it and check out the clip for yourself.
It’s worlds away from the first clip for Mine which was filmed in Tokyo and was based around a Japanese organ player. Despite their differences they’re both beautifully shot clips and establish Life Is Better Blonde as an artist with both a strong sonic and visual aesthetic.
