Live: Grinspoon – ‘Passerby’ (Unplugged In The Studio)

Australian music royalty since 1995, Grinspoon have been an ever-present force in many of our lives. Through regular albums and constant touring, Grinspoon have weathered just about every trend, fad, crisis or storm thrown their way. And with the release of their latest full-length record, it’s clear that they won’t be hanging up their mics any time soon.

Boosted straight off the album Black Rabbit, Passerby has been doing the rounds of late, earning some solid radio love as well as stockpiling plenty of hits on the old iTunes. Phil and Pat stopped by the Music Feeds Studio to perform an unplugged rendition of the track, which comes to life in a totally new way once performed acoustically.

Truly testament to the pair’s talent, no smokes and mirrors or auto tune here – just two of Australia’s most consistent rockers, their guitars, and as Phil adds, plenty of cameras.
