Mid City – ‘Dead Broke Blues’

Melbourne indie rockers Mid City have shared a dance-indusing music video for their debut single ‘Dead Broke Blues’, ahead of their upcoming debut shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

Directed by the band’s friend Alec McCloskey, the video first spawned over a few beers, and ended with part-time actor Bralen Chatfield dancing up a storm on camera.

Mid City frontman Joel Griffith says, “In this climate sometimes it seems like everyone’s got it together but you. False perception is your reality. We wanted to cut the crap of having it all worked out, spark a bit of joy and remind people that even if we are all gonna go to hell we might as well all dance like possessed frogs.”

Mid City will perform free shows in Sydney and Melbourne over the next two weeks, ahead of their forthcoming debut EP. Catch all the details below.
