Future-soul diva Ngaiire is back with her new single House On A Rock, seeing her flexing her vocal muscles after just wrapping up her sold out national tour. The latest track taken from her critically acclaimed album Blastoma showcases not only her musical prowess but also her emotional depth.
The accompanying video explores the emotional fallout of a failed relationship shot against the backdrop of the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv. It also boasts a steamy Israeli heart throb playing Ngaiire’s lost love, with the video having a refreshing focus on the male form instead of the usual booty-histrionics on display in r’n’b clips.
The follow up to previous singles Once, Diggin and I Can’t Hear God Anymore, House On A Rock is yet another choice cut from Blastoma, which saw the singer once again work with long time collaborators Paul Mac and Jack Grace. Building off the momentum of 2013’s Lamentations, and including some very special contributions from Megan Washington, Blastoma has well and truly announced Ngaiire as one of the nation’s most powerful new artists.
