Music Feeds audiences were recently very lucky to have witnessed the talented Nick Mulvey who fresh from playing Byron Bay’s Splendour In The Grass stopped by Music Feeds Studio for a beautiful session of Music Feeds LIVE.
Crafting his intricate guitar skills in Cuba, Briton Nick Mulvey first rose to prominence as a member of the Mercury Prize nominated jazz collective Portico Quartet and released his first solo album, First Mind, in May this year through Caroline/Fiction Records.
Nick played a stunning rendition of one of his most loved tracks, House of Saint Give Me as part of his Music Feeds live set. Speaking to Music Feeds after his performance, Nick told us while he loves large-scale festival gigs, what matters most is the overall experience.
“If you can do the thing you are supposed to do which is more than just go through the songs by rote but actually get that magic thing where you open up, they open up…when that happens, be it one person in the room, ten people or a thousand or more, that’s what matters.”
