Melbourne synth-pop artist Nussy has a brand new single, My Heroin, which comes complete with a live-action video clip that proves the Melbourne lady’s heart is not one to be messed with.
Directed by 2014 Tropfest winners Jarred Osborn and Julian Lucas, the video stars Nussy and her gang of loyal sidekicks who together seek revenge on kidnap Nussy’s love interest for all the heartache he has caused her.
“It’s a bit crazy and shows the psychotic side of someone who is possessed by the toxic relationship they are in – almost like being under the influence of drugs,” Nussy explains. Note: do not mess with her heart.
My Heroine follows the release of Nussy’s 2014 debut EP, Dizzy. Nussy will be launching the new single at The Shadow Electric in Melbourne on July 17th and at Gallery Bar, Oxford Arts Factory in Sydney on August 13th. Head to her Facebook page for more details.
