The Riptide Movement – ‘You And I’ (Live For Music Feeds)

Irish rockers The Riptide Movement were recently down-under for the first time and while here they treated Music Feeds to an acoustic performance of their track You And I.

Using just two acoustic guitars and a guitar case, the boys teared through a raw rendition of the energetic track with three of them contributing vocals.

It shows that while the band are able to play huge plugged-in gigs they’re also able to be equally impressive when they strip everything and take it back to basics.

The boys were in the country for a short but sweet headline tour showing off their most recent album Getting Through. The record is the band’s third to be released in their home country of Ireland but their first to be released in Australia.

While here they told us that they’re working on the follow-up which is due to be released around June next year.
