Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique have finally dropped the video for their house-infused ’90s-inspired banger Love Is Free plucked from the EP of the same name released this year.
The video is an uber-creative, colourful affair which makes absolutely no sense but looks phenomenal and that’s all that really matters.
It was filmed in LA and was directed by SSION who’s created clips for Perfume Genius, Santigold and The Gossip in the past. “I loved working with SSION on this video,” Robyn said.
“The thoughts Maluca, Markus, and I had about how to materialise ‘Love Is Free’ seemed to find a perfect place in Cody’s fantastic world.”
If you’re having trouble defining exactly what this video is about then Robyn has helped out saying it’s, “Flesh and paint and dreams, both good ones and bad ones.”
In five minutes this encapsulates all the creative craziness of the ’90s – it’s wild, full of questionable fashion and thrives off neon lighting.
