Ruby Fields – ‘I Want’

19-year-old Sydney rocker Ruby Fields has unleashed her first-ever music video, in the form of the part-animated and completely self-directed clip for her debut single ‘I Want’.

Filmed in her hometown of Cronulla, the video includes Ruby’s own drawings and animations, which help tell the anime-inspired story behind the song.

“I’m stoked to be able to finally get this out, It was important for me to create this clip independently,” Ruby says.

“It took ages to create all the drawings, but being able to do my art and music all in one video was really cool.”

‘I Want’ will appear on Ruby’s upcoming debut EP, which is currently without a title or release date. She’ll perform at Snowtunes, Sounds Of The Suburbs, BIGSOUND and Yours & Owls festivals later this year.
