You’re probably no doubt aware of the slinky gem that is local producer Running Touch‘s last single Courtesy Of, such is the well-deserved bashing it’s getting on airwaves at the moment, but prepare to dive deeper into the pop-injected house music vibes of this promising up and comer with new single Levitate (It’s All Too Perfect), the video of which dropped earlier this week.
Fresh from his Splendour in the Grass debut, the Melbourne beat-maker, who in the vein of a lot of ~mysterious~ producers of late, has scarce information floating round about him, has already sold out his upcoming headline tour and has just been announced as support for SAFIA’s next trip round the country.
Talking about the new song and clip, which stars himself throwing some mad shapes, Running Touch says, “Levitate was a project birthed from some hyper-reality, graphic, obsessive and personal material I wrote. It’s meant to be personal and I didn’t want to change that when translating the vision to video. I wanted to make it personal by planning, directing and assisting editing it myself, using people I knew and making the experience just as personal for me as the song itself.”
Check out the new clip above and keep on eye on this soon to be hyuuuuuge Aussie talent.
