Instrumental rock pioneers sleepmakeswaves returned with their second studio album Love of Cartography in July this year and whilst in the midst of a national tour, they managed to stop by Music Feeds Studio for a special unplugged session of Music Feeds LIVE.
While in the studio for the second time around the boys demonstrated their incredible musicianship with an acoustic rendition of the track Great Northern. Following their stripped-back performance, the band told us they are rapt with how fans are responding to their new direction in sound.
“We’ve played to crowds in places we never though we’d play to a crowd like that in a place like that, and the positivity we’ve been getting from the crowd has been incredible in just about every town,” they said.
“We used to have people head-banging and rocking out at all our shows and now we have people dancing and jumping around so that’s a lot of fun for us.”
