Interview by Marc Zanotti
The Uncanny Valley is described by Taylor as the song “where it all dawns on the human”, and one that continues the ongoing theme of the human’s self-discovery and re-evaluation within the album.
“It’s one of those moments where everything clicks and you realise maybe you’ve made a mess of your life, you made decisions that you shouldn’t have, and it got you to place which was completely foreign and you didn’t want to be there,” he said.
“It’s really about that moment where you’re almost “resetting yourself” and what’s going to be the final push towards who you want to be.”
Corey Taylor came into Music Feeds Studio to break down Stone Sour’s House of Gold & Bones – Part 2 track by track. Feeds will be releasing the interviews all week long, giving fans an insight into the complex narrative and thought process behind House of Gold & Bones.
