The Superjesus – ‘St Peters Lane’

Aussie rock legends The Superjesus are back with a brand new catchy AF tune, dubbed St Peters Lane.

Singer Sarah McLeod apparently wrote the single off the band’s new EP (which FYI is their first release in over a freaking decade!) after being inspired by the – uh – working girls she noticed frequenting the popular Darlinghurst street after which the song was named.

But these babes are no ordinary streetwalkers.

The girls on the avenue have special – shall we say – attributes.

And as a cool twist, The Superjesus have cast the clip using some familiar faces from the Sydney rock scene…

Azaria Byrne from The Art, Tomi Gray from The Ruckus and Miles Cochrane from RedHook star as three foxy transvestite prostitutes who steal business away from their stunning (actual) female rival.

Watch them strut their stuff in The Superjesus’ hilarious clip for St Peters Lane above, and catch McLeod & co in action when they hit the road with Bryan Adams and Baby Animals for A Day On The Green in 2016.
