New York singer Tei Shi (real name Valerie Teicher) is continuing to capitalise on her rep as the most-blogged artist of 2014 with a brand new slice of polished indie pop called Get It.
The chilled-out, vocally stacked, reverb-drenched single comes packing a dreamy music video, which follows the release of her last single See Me off her Verde EP.
“This one was shot up in Montreal this summer with my friends from Dreamtiger, while I was there starting to write for the album,” Tei Shi explains.
“It was a really fun and loving one to make (shot in my Airbnb apartment) and features some insanely breathtaking footage from the NASA Cassini Mission satellite which tracks Saturn 24/7 and takes raw footage of it which is incredible so… thanks to NASA (never thought I’d be saying that but am loving the idea of it).
“Anyway, I hope you like it and when you see it… take a second to note that the space footage is so real, raw, and it’s existing out there right now… It blows my mind.”
