The Charge – ‘Acid In My Veins’

Melbourne prog rockers The Charge have just unleashed a ripper new music video for the track Acid In My Veins from their forthcoming album The Order of the Owl.

The clip, which was shot and edited by the band’s producer Reggie Bowman to ensure audio and visual consistency, was filmed on location in the forests and hills surrounding Melbourne, with the live performance elements recorded inside a warehouse space.

“This is just a first taste of this record. We wanted to give it all we have in this clip,” says drummer, Ben Cuthbert. “Order of the Owl is our way of making a statement about the world and we want to connect with people through the clip and the album.”

The LP promises to unfold a narrative centring around an ancient god-like figure called “Moloch”, and the eerie video for Acid In My Veins introduces just one instalment.

The Charge will be playing Melbourne’s The Evelyn Hotel on August 21st to celebrate the release, with an East Coast tour to follow once the LP release date has been set.
