The Chemist – Silver & Gold (Live At Music Feeds Studio)

Armed with a trash can, a rubber duck, and their southern bluesy sensibilities, rising stars The Chemist filled Music Feeds Studio with their swampy vibe as they performed their recent single Silver & Gold.

The forthcoming album Ballet in the Badlands bears its name from the idea of a junkyard ballet. As the boys explained in their recent interview, it is riddled with juxtaposition, and it has also given birth to Spray Paint or Praise, which carries on with the motif. Oozing with darkness, the track is low and lazy, creeping its way into your ears rather than biting at the first chance.

We won’t have to wait too much longer to sample the full offering. Ballet in the Badlands will be available Friday, 22nd March. We’ll have to wait even less to catch it live, as the band is currently embarking on a wicked album launch tour.
