Vance Joy – Riptide (Unplugged At Music Feeds Studio)

Vance Joy stopped by Music Feeds Studio prior to hitting the road in support of Julia Stone to perform for us his deeply personal ode to unrequited love, Riptide.

Armed with just a ukelele, Joy is able to unravel an intricate narrative that may leave you thinking about that one particular person that got away. As he explained in his interview with us, Joy attempted to touch on a wide rage of emotions on his God Loves You When You’re Dancing EP. He certainly hit his one and hit it hard.

Joy will be representing Australia at the up-and-coming SXSW conference before he returns home for a run of east coast headlining dates. The singer-songwriter has spend most of 2013 touring in support of Of Monsters & Men and Julia Stone.
