Watch: Cold War Kids – ‘Nights & Weekends’

Los Angeles band Cold War Kids have released an arty black & white music video for their song Nights & Weekends, a cut from their 2014 album Hold My Home.

Nathan Willett, Cold War Kids’ vocalist/pianist/guitarist, has explained some of the meaning behind Nights & Weekends, saying, “This song/video is a dreamy look at the girl waiting in the checkout line – looking up at the girl on the magazine cover. She refuses to be inferior to the magazine girl and in fact, knows that she is so much more.”

Cold War Kids are set to perform at both Falls Festival and Southbound in only a few weeks time. The band also have sideshows lined up in Sydney and Melbourne.
