Watch: Gang Of Youths – ‘Benevolence Riots’

Sydney concept-rockers Gang Of Youths have released a video for their single Benevolence Riots, which dropped last month, with a good helping of loungeroom politics.

The band has offered us more than one thought-provoking morsel with this video, which is a reflective mish mash of working class realism, spliced historical video footage and apt quotes from art and literature thrown in for good measure.

The band have also just announced their Benevolence Riots tour, playing Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge on 22nd January, followed by The Workers Club in Melbourne on 14th February and Sydney’s Goodgod Small Club on 21st February – details here. The band will also head to the South by Southwest Festival in Texas in 2015.
