New Zealand songstress Kimbra has just dropped her highly-anticipated sophomore record, The Golden Echo and today has unveiled the video for the album’s catchy dance tune Miracle.
In the clip, an elated Kimbra dances down a street in an sparkling red outfit, flanked by a couple of well-coordinated postmen and friendly neighbourhood mimes, soundtracked by the soul and disco inspired track.
The Golden Echo was produced by Rich Costey (Foster the People, Interpol, Muse), while Silverchair‘s Daniel Johns is said to have acted as a songwriting partner for many songs on the record. According to Music Feeds reviewer Sam Murphy, The Golden Echo is “an oddball, schizoid ode to ’90s culture, nostalgia and youthful exuberance.”
