Watch: Smokin’ Mirrors – ‘State of the Mind’

Female-fronted riff champs Smokin’ Mirrors have just dropped a rip-snorting new music video for their tune, State of the Mind, and, be warned, by watching it you run the risk of never looking at a freshly baked pie the same again.

Directed by David Owen Blackley of UK-based Her Name Is Murder Productions, the video for the Sydney rock foursome’s second single off their debut EP, Set To Ignite, acts as a modern day parable of the Seven Deadly Sins and features overgrown boyscouts, cross-dressing cops, white-girl-wasted archangels and MMA-trained grannies.

The music video also represents the end of an era for the Sydney rockers, whom Music Feeds can exclusively reveal will be relaunching with a brand new lineup, brand new sound and brand new identity this May.

Further details have yet to be announced, but the band has confirmed that they will be a featured act at all five dates of the 2015 Wallapalooza Festival, in its first year as a national event.

They’re also currently in the running to support Baby Animals and The Superjesus on their national She Who Rocks tour. If you like what you hear, you can fling them a vote here.
