Watch: The Smith Street Band – ‘Get High, See No One’

Melbourne’s own The Smith Street Band have unveiled the new video from their new single Get High, See No One, taken from their 2014 album Throw Me in the River.

Shot at the band’s home in Footscray, Melbourne, the clip features frontman Wil Wagner dressed in a bathrobe with full clown face as his band mates, and various house guests, go by their day around him.

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Melbourne rockers, having recently launched a new politically scathing single, Wipe That Shit-Eating Grin Off Your Punchable Face, directed at the Australian government’s asylum seeker policy. Its captivating artwork features a painting of Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

The band also recorded their first ever entry in triple j’s Hottest 100 with their track Surrender, appearing at #69 and they’ve just announced a third and final Melbourne show to the Get High, See Everyone national tour, which is currently underway. See those dates here.
