Beyond The Valley will return to Victoria for its third edition this December, cementing its place as one of Australia’s premier New Years camping festivals.
This year’s BTV will be bigger than ever, with 66 acts set to feature in total; and festival organisers have just announced the first batch of local and international acts on the bill.
Headlining will be Chicago-hailing Chance The Rapper in his first ever Australian show. Chance’s 2016 mixtape Colouring Book confirmed his position as one of the most inspiring and influential hip hop artists going around.
Joining him is enigmatic house producer ZHU, who was already in the country earlier in 2016 laying down some massive sets. Sydney singer-songwriter Montaigne wowed crowds at Splendour this year, as did fellow Sydneysiders Sticky Fingers; and both will also be making the trip to Warragul for the festival.
Also featuring on the impressive lineup is What So Not, who is having a breakthrough solo year as an artist, and ARIA- award winning songwriter Ladyhawke; as well as other notable additions DZ Deathrays, Dune Rats, Emma Louise, Hermitude, Hudson Mohawke, Hayden James and SAFIA, plus many more.
Organisers have undeniably delivered the goods once again after setting the bar high with last year’s huge lineup, which featured Jamie xx, Flight Facilities, Tkay Maidza and more.
In terms of ticketing for this year’s event, a four day event ticket is set to cost you $420, three days from $380, and two days from $340, while a single day NYE ticket will set you back $150. Presale tickets have also sold out; so get on that quick-smart. Ticketing details available below.
