LANEWAY SIDESHOW SEASON IS OFFICIALLY UPON US! A massive wave of international artists heading Down Under for Laneway Festival 2027 have announced their own Australian headline shows, with Kim Petras, ADÉLA, Violet Grohl, Jane Remover, Danny L Harle and more preparing to take over venues across the country next February.
Presented by Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents, the latest announcement delivers a genre-spanning avalanche of intimate gigs, giving fans another chance to catch some of the festival’s most exciting acts outside the main event.
Following the Adelaide and Perth headline shows announced in September, the newly unveiled dates focus predominantly on Sydney and Melbourne, with everything from Grammy-winning pop royalty and rising indie-rock stars to post-punk firebrands, experimental electronic producers and internet-born hyperpop innovators on the menu.
Among the biggest names is Grammy Award-winning pop superstar Kim Petras, who will bring her high-octane live show to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Forum in support of her latest record, Detour.
Rising pop provocateur ADÉLA will also perform two exclusive headline shows, fresh from sold-out tours across North America and Europe, while Violet Grohl will make her own Australian headline appearances, showcasing material from her debut record Be Sweet To Me.
Meanwhile, electronic music fans are particularly well catered for, with PC Music co-founder Danny L Harle, digicore trailblazer Jane Remover and Berlin’s wonderfully eccentric horse-human pop sensation horsegiirL all announcing headline dates.
On the guitar-driven side of things, Irish post-punk acts Bleech 9:3 and Gurriers will bring their respective brands of high-voltage chaos Down Under, alongside rising Irish alt-rock outfit Florence Road.
Elsewhere, two-time BRIT Award nominee Rachel Chinouriri, genre-bending LA rapper and producer rommulas, and self-produced hyperpop artist Tiffany Day round out the newly announced roster.
Several shows are already sold out, including Jane Remover’s Perth performance on 10th February and Tiffany Day’s Perth date on 16th February.
And with some of these artists making their Australian live debuts, demand for the remaining tickets could be fierce.
