Bring Me The Horizon Announce 2019 Australian Tour For New Album ‘amo’

Fresh from unleashing their new single ‘Mantra’ earlier today, Sheffield metalcore graduates Bring Me The Horizon have announced a 2019 Australian arena tour in support of their upcoming sixth album amo.

The new record — the follow-up to 2015’s That’s The Spirit — will be released on 11th January 2019. A few months later, Oli Sykes and company will return to Australia for headline shows across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in April.

Catch all the tour dates and ticket details below, and FYI fans who pre-order the album will also score priority access to BMTH’s Aussie tour tickets (as in pre-pre-sale).

amo was largely written and recorded in Los Angeles, with Sykes and his bandmate Jordan Fish handling production duties.

amo is a love album that explores every aspect of that most powerful emotion,” says Sykes.

“It deals with the good the bad and the ugly, and as a result we’ve created an album that’s more experimental, more varied, weird, and wonderful than anything we’ve done before.”

Bring Me The Horizon last toured Australia in 2017, when they performed shows in Melbourne and Adelaide, which were originally scheduled to take place in 2016. The shows had been put on hold after Sykes was advised by doctors to rest, after being diagnosed with acute laryngitis during the 2016 tour.
