Pop girlies, assemble: Kita Alexander is gearing up for a massive 2026, announcing her RAGE Australian tour alongside a brand new single, ‘Tell My Friends’, dropping this Friday.
The track, featuring Danish artist Christophe, is the latest taste of Kita’s upcoming sophomore album RAGE, landing June 26 (pre-order here). And in true Kita fashion, it’s equal parts glossy pop and emotional overshare (respectfully).
Kita Alexander – ‘Rage’
“Sometimes in anger… we tend to overshare with each other,” Kita explains. “It’s human nature, but what we don’t talk about enough is how anger, if not processed properly, can leave lasting marks.”
Relatable content tbh.
The new single arrives alongside news of the RAGE Tour, which will see Kita hit the road across Australia this September before heading off to Europe and the UK. The Aussie run kicks off in Melbourne on September 12, followed by stops in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
If her last era is anything to go by (sold-out shows, ARIA noms, and a casual support slot for Dua Lipa) we reckon you can safely expect this next chapter to go even bigger.
And RAGE? It’s shaping up to be a proper statement.
Described as a “reclamation of self,” the album sees Kita leaning all the way into the emotion she’s spent years trying to suppress. “Rage has been the catalyst for positive change in my life,” she says. “It’s about embracing it instead of shutting it down.”
Sonically, it’s also a shift – recorded live with organic instrumentation and built with her live show in mind. Translation: these songs are gonna hit different in a room full of screaming fans.
