Dandy Warhols Australian Tour May 2011

Written by Brayden Darke on February 18, 2011

The Dandy Warhols will be back to tour Australia this May.

The Dandy Warhols first came to international attention in 1997 with the world’s catchiest anti-heroin song, Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth. However it was their brilliant third album Thirteen-tales-from-urban-bohemia that catapulted them into the stratosphere.

Alternative Press called Bohemia “a scattershot bagful of wild rides and demented ditties and an album of maniacal depth and vision” where as MTV described it as “a real piece of art, with an unmistakably original sound and incisive storytelling.”

With a regular stream of releases following, The Dandy Warhols have continued to assert their status as one of the world’s most forward thinking and relevant bands.

Don’t miss your chance to see one of the world’s most enduring and influential bands put on an unforgettable psych-out throughout Australia this May.
