Wage War Confirm 2026 Australian Headline Tour

Strap in – this one’s gonna hit like a dropkick to the sternum.

Florida metalcore wrecking ball Wage War are bringing their It Calls Me By Name world tour to Australia this July and August, and they’re not coming alone. Joining the carnage are Nashville chaos merchants Orthodox and Melbourne’s own pit-starters Heavensgate – aka a lineup engineered specifically to ruin your neck (in the best way).

Wage War – ‘SONG OF THE SWAMP’

The run kicks off Thursday 30 July in Perth, before tearing through Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane, wrapping up in Sydney on Friday 7 August. If you caught Wage War at Knotfest 2024, you already know the deal – this is “stadium metalcore” with a mean left hook and hooks big enough to scream back at the band.

Across a decade of chaos, Wage War have carved out their lane with a lethal combo of bone-snapping breakdowns and massive, melodic choruses… the kind that stick in your head while your body’s still recovering. Their latest chapter, including 2024’s Stigma and the freshly dropped It Calls Me By Name EP, doubles down on that formula, pulling inspiration from their Florida roots – swampy, aggressive, and absolutely relentless.

Meanwhile, Orthodox are here to make things uncomfortable in the best possible way, blending metallic hardcore chaos with nu-metal groove and pure fury, while Heavensgate continue their rapid ascent as one of Australia’s most ferocious new heavy exports.

Suss the deets down below.
