Download Festival Melbourne Adds Final Act To 2018 Lineup

Written by Tom Williams on February 27, 2018

Organisers behind the first-ever Australian edition of Download Festival have added one final act to their 2018 lineup, after announcing two new acts on their roster earlier this month.

The 29th and final band to join the Download Melbourne lineup is none other than Melbourne act Cast Down, who have taken out the festival’s triple j Unearthed competition with their brand of hardcore punk metal.

The group join Download’s recent additions Make Them Suffer and High Tension, who were added to the lineup after Cursed Earth and Alpha Wolf both pulled out of the festival in recent weeks.

Making its Aussie debut across four stages at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on Saturday, 24th March, Download will be headlined by Korn, Prophets Of Rage and Limp Bizkit.
