Four New Bands Added To Splendour In The Grass 2013 Line Up

Splendour In The Grass 2013 will kick off in just a few weeks time, and just when you thought it couldn’t get even more massive, it has. Today organisers have announced the addition of 4 new acts to the bill including Baptism of Uzi, Postblue, Potato Potato and The Hated.

It was a national competition hosted by triple j Unearthed that scored Baptism of Uzi their slot. Out of all the bands on the Unearthed roster, the Melbourne crew proved the most worthy. As drummer Leif Gordon-Bruce told triple j, “We’ve only done a few shows out of Melbourne so it’s going to be a whole new experience going up to Byron,” so they are sure to make the most of this opportunity.

From there, the Unearthed team have selected three more acts. Postblue will be bringing their guitar-driven vibe to The Supertop, folk crew Potato Potato will be opening the GW McLennan stage for the rest of the festival and hip hop collective The Hated will take to the Mix Up tent.

Be sure to brush up on the above artists to get the most out of your Splendour experience and prepare to hear more from them in the weeks leading up.
