GWAR Have Cancelled Their 2018 Australian Tour

GWAR‘s Australian tour has been cancelled just a few months before they were due to touchdown.

The band were scheduled to play their first shows in the country since 2014 this April but the tour won’t be going ahead anymore as confirmed by the promoter DRW Entertainment.

The events were all pulled from Facebook leading fans to think the tour may be cancelled and unfortunately for them they were correct.

Just last month in an interview with The Rock Pit, Beefcake the Mighty from the band said he was “excited” to come down to Australia and was planning on, “a sword fight with a sword fish with Bindi Irwin.”

Promoters DRW Entertainment have declined to comment on why the tour has been cancelled and the band is yet to address the cancellation also.

For those who bought tickets online or via telephone, refunds will be automatically processed. If you purchased tickets in person with a ticketing agent, Ticketek will be in contact to organise the refund.
