Here’s The First Setlist From Queens Of The Stone Age’s 2017 Australian Tour

Queens Of The Stone Age have kicked off their latest Australian tour with their first-ever show in Darwin, which featured an epic set of tracks new and old.

According to the Setlist.fm report from last night’s show at the Darwin Convention Centre, Josh Homme and co. performed an 18-song set featuring cuts from all but one of their studio albums, as well as two songs from their upcoming new album Villains.

Kicking off with ‘You Think I Ain’t Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire’, QOTSA made their way through hits like ‘No One Knows’, ‘Burn The Witch’, ‘Make It Wit Chu’, ‘Little Sister’ and ‘Go With The Flow’, before closing out their set with a two-song encore of ‘I Sat By The Ocean’ and ‘A Song For The Dead’.

Villains tracks ‘The Way You Used To Do’ and ‘The Evil Has Landed’ were supposedly the only two new songs the band performed on the night.

Queens Of The Stone Age’s Darwin show was supported by Indigenous bush-punk band Lonely Boys, who had “never heard” of QOTSA before they were asked to warm-up their Darwin stage.

QOTSA will headline the amphitheatre stage at Splendour In The Grass this weekend, but before then they’ll be playing a free DJ set in Sydney this week. The band are also set to perform Splendour sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
