Jane’s Addiction Covering The Rolling Stones For ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Finale

I guess we’ve found some SAMCRO supports in Jane’s Addiction. Along with news that a band member will actually feature in the hit series, it has now been announced that the band will be covering a song especially for the season’s finale.

Now in its 5th season, Sons of Anarchy – the TV program revolving around the exploits of a motorcycle club – has never been more popular, evident in the casting for the final episodes of the very loaded season. Dave Navarro, the Jane’s Addiction guitarist for those playing at home, has revealed that he will be performing in the final 2 eps. Dave-O will be re-imagined as a member of the Biz Lats gang, or so says Anti-Quiet.

Speaking to the publication backstage after a gig at the The Wiltern in Los Angeles, frontman Perry Farrell also confirmed that the band had recently been in the studio putting down vocals over The Rolling Stones Sympathy for the Devil, just for the season finale. This is much to the delight of Jane’s Addiction fans, who first heard their rendition of the track back on their live album debut in 1997.

Season 5 is set to wrap up mid-November, with a 6th and possible 7th season also on the cards.
