Listen: Passion Pit New Single ‘Take A Walk’

Written by Marc Zanotti on May 9, 2012

Passion Pit have released the first taste of their upcoming second studio record Gossamer in the form of the band’s new single Take A Walk.

When speaking with NME about the new record, Passion Pit vocalist Michael Angelakos described it as an overtly positive comeback.

“(It’s) gonna be a really fantastic, exciting, beautiful, gorgeous record. An absolutely beautiful record. I’m so excited… We’re aligning it with the Farmers’ Almanac in America, so when the buds start to bloom is when we kind of wanna release it. Like when life starts to come back. We wanna be pretty literal”, Angelakos said.

The new record Gossamer is due for release July 24, 2012.
