Passion Pit Announce New Record ‘Gossamer’

Written by Marc Zanotti on April 25, 2012

Those sporting chaps at Consequence of Sound have reported that American electro goodness outfit Passion Pit have announced that their second LP Gossamer will be out on July 24, 2012.

Paste Magazine posted part of a press release in which Passion Pit singer Michael Angelakos explains how the new record will differ from 2009 debut Manners:

“On Gossamer there is more of a dichotomy between the lyrics and the music. You hear my lyrics more precisely which is something I was ready for. The lyrics on this album have a lot to say about what the last two years of my life have been troubled with.”

As for now, let’s check out a track from Passion Pit’s debut record…
