After sharing a teaser video from their 2014 Sydney Opera House performance on socials yesterday, The National have now confirmed that they’ll be returning to tour Australia in 2018.
The US rockers will make their first appearance in the country since 2014, performing shows at massive venues in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in February and March next year.
The tour will come off the back of the release of their forthcoming seventh album Sleep Well Beast, which due for release on Friday, 8th September.
The newly announced Aussie shows will see The National keep up the momentum from recently announced shows in the US and Europe at the back end of 2017, so they’ll be in full touring mode by the time they hit our shores next year.
