Tyler The Creator’s Odd Future are heading back to Australia in 2012 for the Big Day Out tour; a short visit for the Vivid Festival earlier in the year saw them play sold-out shows at the Opera House. Sydney and Melbourne will get Sideshows this time round but Adelaide and Perth fans will miss out on Odd Future altogether, after OFWGKTA were pulled from the Big Day Out Adelaide and Perth shows two weeks ago.

Tyler caused a stir on Twitter late last week when he tweeted that 17-year-old member of the group, Earl Sweatshirt, was back in L.A. Turned out to be a prank, but Earl’s birth name ‘Thebe’ started trending world wide. Hopefully Earl can escape Samoa in time for Big Day Out.
