Spit Syndicate Drop New Single, Announce National Tour

Aussie hip-hop duo Spit Syndicate have debuted their brand new single Know Better and to celebrate they’re heading out on a tour of the country.

Know Better was dropped for the first time on triple j this evening with Linda Marigliano. It’s the first new material we’ve heard from Nick Lupi and Jimmy Nice as Spit Syndicate since 2013 after spending the last few years touring and releasing music with the One Day crew.

Alongside the new tune, they have a handful of new tour dates, announcing that they will be tripping around the country with a full band. They will play headline shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Fremantle, Adelaide and Thredbo as well as play Sydney’s Come Together festival.

Lupi and Nice will hopefully have some new material to show off as they have been recording in LA and New York with “high profile producers”, as they told triple j.

In addition to working in North America, the pair extended their trip to Central America where they backpacked, gaining inspiration for the new record.

“We’re making the best music we’ve ever made and just having a real good time doing it,” they said.

No word on when to expect the album just yet but at least we have the tour to look forward too. According to Lupi, “it’s going to be epic”.
