Splendour In The Grass 2012 – Tickets Sold Out

Written by Svetlana Huffington on April 27, 2012

Tickets for Splendour in the Grass 2012 sold out minutes after going on sale at 9am today. The Moshtix website was slammed with traffic, forcing delays; users found buying tickets through the mobile website a lot easier.

Moshtix set up a ‘green room’ to deal with the influx of traffic stating: “If you are purchasing tickets and you end up in the ‘green room’ don’t panic you are in the correct place and nothing has gone wrong.”

Camping tickets were the first to sell out quickly followed by single Saturday tickets. Friday and Sunday sold out soon afterwards with the whole thing being over in less than an hour.

The 2012 Splendour in the Grass lineup features The Smashing Pumpkins, Jack White, Bloc Party, The Shins, At The Drive-In + heaps more. View the full lineup here.

See you in Byron!
