The Kooks Announce Australian Tour, April/May 2013

Written by Marc Zanotti on February 6, 2013

The Kooks are headed our way for regional festival Groovin’ The Moo and while in town the English rockers will playing a handful of headlining shows around the country. And, yes, South Australia and Western Australia, that includes you!

The Kooks will be slightly detouring from GTM 2013 to play Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane as well as the oft-neglected Adelaide and Fremantle. Having exclusively played Splendour In The Grass last year, this new set of dates will give Australian fans nationwide a chance to ‘Sway’. (I understood that reference – ed.)

In regards to GTM 2013, The Kooks will be playing alongside the likes of Midnight Juggernauts, Tame Impala, Tegan & Sara, They Might Be Giants and Flume. Groovin’ The Moo’s highly anticipated lineup was given an extra jump-start when the bill was leaked a day early.

Tickets are on sale Wednesday, 13th February.
