The Lumineers Announce New Sydney Venue To Handle Massive Demand

Denver folk outfit The Lumineers have experienced some seriously unexpected love Down Under. Of the three upcoming tour dates the band will be carrying out on our soil, 2 have sold out and 1 has strictly limited tickets available.

To combat the sold-out crowd for the Sydney show, organisers have announced that they will be moving things more or less down the road from The Metro to The Enmore Theatre. The show will now take place on Thursday, 28th March. The extra tickets are on sale now and, of course, previously purchased tix for The Metro will be honoured on the new date at the new venue.

Melbourne has also sold out but will remain at The Corner Hotel for now, and Brisbane has a few tickets left to spare. You don’t need to be a genius to do the maths – get in quick or miss out!

You may be familiar with the group’s jam Ho Hey, which found solid traction on Aussie airwaves. Lifted from their self-titled album, the track has pricked up all the right ears, with The Lumineers shortlisted for the Best New Artist and Best Americana Album at this year’s Grammys.

If you can’t make it to the new show, refunds will be available from Ticketek.
