The Offspring’s New Album ‘Days Go By’ Will Be Released Late 2012

Written by Marc Zanotti on April 25, 2012

Noise Creep have revealed that The Offspring’s ninth studio record Days Go By is slated for release sometime this summer and will be the first Offspring record to feature the band’s latest drummer Pete Parada.

Guitarist Noodles has apparently claimed that Days Go By will sound like the records The Offspring used to make “20 years ago”. Whether or not this assertion is accurate will be proven this Friday when the title track debuts on KROQ’s ‘Kevin & Bean Show’.

For many of us who grew up on 90s punk, Smash was a monster record and it would be great to see The Offspring return to that kind of undeniable intensity.

Troye Sivan – WILD

In 2015, the legitimacy of the so-called millennial generation, their musical tastes, their idols, their means of communicating with one another, is a constant discussion point amongst those slightly older cultural crusaders, who are adamant that it is really them who know what’s worthy of our collected attention and respect.
