Tom Petty Offers $7500 Reward For Stolen Guitars

Tom Petty’s guitar collection is Free Fallin’ – seriously – and he wants it replenished.

The LA Times reports that Petty is offering a $7,500 no-questions-asked reward after five guitars belonging to him and his band The Heartbreakers were stolen from their rehearsal studios in Culver City.

The band rocked up to the studios to begin rehearsing for their upcoming tour in the USA – which begins in Colorado next week – only to find the guitars had been swiped.

The stolen instruments include Petty’s 1967 blond 12-string Rickenbacker and his Gibson SG TVJunior; Mike Campbell’s blue Dusenberg Mike Campbell model, Ron Blair’s Fender Broadcaster; and Scott Thurston’s 1967 Epiphone Sheridan.
