Chad Smith has confirmed The Red Hot Chili Peppers will release their new album this August. The Album currently has no title.
In a Video interview with Rock it Out Chad let slip they will release the new album in the last week of August.
Chad said:
“It’s been going good. We got lots of songs, we’re just choosing the ones that are gonna be on the album. It sounds great.”
Speaking of new guitarist Klinghoffer, who replaced John Frusciante in 2010, Smith said:
“He brought a lot to the table, he’s an excellent writer.”
We previously reported in November last year that the Album would be released mid 2011 and alot lot of people were not happy with Mikey Carr’s prediction of the how the new album might turn out.
